SUPPLY RISK: if you know it, you can avoid it

More than ever in this pandemic period, companies have experienced the difficulties and operational risks imposed by international supply chains characterised by

• imbalance between supply and demand
• shortages of many materials (e.g. semiconductors)
• rising prices for energy, transport and many raw materials.

In the face of these extreme disruptions, most companies have been reactive.

However, in such circumstances it is advisable to adopt a proactive attitude, equipping oneself with the ability to anticipate major disruptions to supply chains and to mitigate them through prevention (reducing the probability of occurrence of damaging events) and protection (reducing their effects).

An event designed for entrepreneurs and front-line managers who wish to move from defence to attack and from reaction to prevention with respect to disruptions in their supply chains.
